oops. again something from the background and a.t.c.-tribe. labelowner vaz is releasing his own productions on his no-name-label [---]. starting from the first release, vaz-productions have a very unique handwriting. i'm tempted to say, that his arrangements are trying to realize something like a freejazz-gesture, hidden in a 4-to-the-floor-corset. thousands of melody-snippets are rushing in a detroit-sound-vacuum, acting like mad ducks, which try to escape out of a cage called repitition. the result is astonishing. reviewed by JAN JELINEK
